The private residence in Germany represents residential architecture with expansive spaces and double-height volumes requiring specific lighting solutions. This German home selected LU Murano chandeliers to enhance spaces with an installation that exploits the architecture's verticality. The chandelier creates a visual focal point unifying two residential floors.
The property owners commissioned lighting design that would enhance the height between two floors whilst creating a central visual focal point accessible from both levels. The challenge was finding a chandelier capable of exploiting the verticality of spaces without compromising lighting functionality. The installation needed to guarantee adequate illumination distributed across both levels, with strategic mid-air positioning that would enhance the German residential architecture.
Master Fabio Fornasier developed an LU 24-light double-column chandelier with mirrored gold finish. The gold chandelier presents vertical double-column structure with 24 elements in Murano blown glass and mid-air positioning between two levels. The mirrored gold colouring amplifies natural luminosity from windows and creates warm reflections across both floors. Integrated LED technology guarantees optimal illumination distributed between lower and upper floors. The golden finish visually unifies the environments and creates lighting continuity through the levels. Each element is hand-blown in Murano's historic furnaces according to Venetian artisanal tradition.
The installation transforms the German residence into an environment where the LU Murano chandelier visually unifies two residential floors. Master Fornasier's project demonstrates ability to develop technical solutions for complex architecture with double heights whilst bringing Italian artisanal excellence to the German residential market. The mirrored gold chandelier enhances the verticality of spaces and celebrates Venetian glass-making tradition applied to contemporary architectural contexts with solutions maximising scenographic impact.
For luxury villas and prestigious residences requiring bespoke artistic lighting, LU Murano develops customised projects transforming every environment into a space of excellence.
