The Westlake Village Inn represents Californian hospitality excellence, a luxury boutique hotel embodying the innovative spirit of contemporary California. This American resort selected LU Murano design chandeliers to illuminate its spaces with creations uniting Venetian glass artistry and Californian lifestyle dynamism.
The resort sought lighting solutions capable of distinguishing the property within the competitive American hospitality market, creating sophisticated atmospheres enhancing guest experience. The design challenge required a coordinated system characterising different functional areas whilst maintaining overall aesthetic coherence. The chandelier installation needed to respond to two distinct environments' specific requirements: bar area for conviviality and relaxation spaces for wellness, each with different lighting and atmospheric requirements with the creation of complementary yet coordinated chandelier typologies.
Master Fabio Fornasier developed a system combining two LU chandelier typologies: three black chandeliers with 24 lights each for the bar area and one transparent pulegoso glass chandelier with 36 lights for relaxation zones.
The black chandeliers create elegant contrast with the bar's ambient lighting, defining specific spaces across surfaces up to 45 square metres. The black finish confers distinctive character, whilst integrated LED technology guarantees 12,000 lumens distributed for mixology and evening entertainment. The transparent pulegoso glass diffuses soft light across wellness areas spanning 30 square metres, with texture amplifying brilliance without reflections, creating tranquillity atmosphere for the resort's relaxation spaces.
The installation transforms Westlake Village Inn into a hospitality property where the LU chandelier collection coexists creating specific identities for functional areas.
Master Fornasier's lighting system demonstrates design versatility, dynamism for convivial spaces through black chandeliers, tranquillity for relaxation areas with pulegoso glass. The project positions the resort within Californian hospitality's luxury segment, celebrating the encounter between Venetian artisanal tradition and contemporary American lifestyle.
For luxury resorts and boutique hotels seeking distinctive lighting for lobbies and public areas, LU Murano delivers coordinated systems completing the property's identity.
